Sisters Dream

by candi   Oct 4, 2005

At night I dream about you,
This person I never knew
A little girl so young and blue
that only god knew what to do.

At heavens gate about he waits
For this little girl to enter the gates
This little girl had met her fate
As for this there was not hate

My sister Born so young and true
I never even got to know you,
As i wish upon the morning dew,
The times we met where very few.

And Now you wait in heavens sky
As we watch us you hear our cry
And this tear that waits upon my eye.
As for this poem it is no lie

For 18 years you've heard our prayer
And every year you catch our tears
We know that someday we'll be near
To hear very secret wish and fear

As heavens angel you wait above
And share plenty of his precious love.
Upon the creamy pale clouds that fit like a glove.

this poem is dedicated to my sister along with the hardest thing for a father. My sister died 18 years ago after being born premature i never got to know her but i still love her with all my heart.
