Every day she smiles
puts on an act and show
she hides and she pretends
cause she doesn't want you to know

She blinks away her tears
and pretends that it's okay
she says she's always cold
but it's what she has to say

she hides the scars she has
the cuts she made last night
she seems happy on the outside
but inside she's not alright

some may call her emo
but she's just trying to live
she gets absolutely nothing
yet she gives, and gives and gives.

it hurts her every to watch
she has no control at all
she just gets to watch the world
pass by quickly as she falls.
