Cant you see

by Mathew Shelton   Dec 1, 2003

What am I supposed to do?
Satisfy me and you.
Trying not to screw this up.
But I want to be happy.

Can’t you see I do love you?
There has to be something there.
That is why I'm still right here,
Besides you.

I say things to get you mad.
I project my anger toward you.
I wish I could be nice to you all the time,
So will you settle for half the time?

I can see that you’re wearing thin.
Like and old tee-shirt and
I bet your wondering why
I show no reaction.
So I’m sorry.
