Tender Loving Care

She ran home from school crying,
Fighting back the tears,
Her heart was ripped out by her very own peers.

They pointed; they stared, not knowing she cared.
Inside she was bleeding from the inside out.
She knew she was going to end it all without a doubt.

When she got home, know one was there,
All she need was some tender loving care.
A hug, a kiss, or even just a plain smile…
Could have saved her life.
