When A Soldier Cries

by tabithaa   Oct 5, 2005

When A Soldier Cries,
You feel their pain,
You can see their tears,
Through the hardest rain.

When A soldier cries,
You can see their heart break,
You ask yourself,
"How much more can they take?"

When A soldier cries,
You don't wanna know,
How far they've gone,
Or how far they'll go.

When A soldier cries,
You can see through the mask,
You wonder how they're accomplishing,
Such a horrid task.

When A soldier cries,
The pain is real,
It kills your soul,
How bad can they possibly feel?

When A soldier cries,
There is no weakness in the tears,
There is no weakness in the way,
The soldier faces it's fears.

When A soldier cries,
The rain pours down,
Yet, A soldier cries,
Without A sound.
