Lonely

Being lonely is a very sad thing.
Like joining choir but cant sing.
Wanting to be in a relationship with someone you know
but is afraid that their answer might be no.

Seeing people left and right
with their true love flying a kite.
Wishing to be with your true love
like a pair of snow white doves.

Many people around you are in relationships
yet your alone eating potato chips.
Sitting by yourself in your room
can bring you closer to your doom.

Dreaming of the person that you wish to meet
but its hard to do when your stuck in your seat.
Trying to ask somebody to go to dinner
just makes them laugh and say your a kidder.

Some people are so lonely that they decide
that they should just go and comit suicide.
They are stopped by a voice in their head
that tells them to wait, its better than being dead.

After picking life over death just before they jump,
they go for a walk by the town dump.
Realizing being alone is a little good.
Just because they can be in a relationship, doesn't mean they should.

Being lonely is a good and bad thing,
who cares if you can't sing!
At least you know you can always try
going around saying to everybody hi.
