Giving Up Your Bestfriend (cutting)

Put that knife down girl, you're better than that. You don't need a blade to take away all your pain. Go cheer up and put on some GC. Don't give into the pressures it seems. You think you're worthless, and you think the knife will take away all your pain. But what will you do when it takes away too much? Think of the consequences and cover up your arm. Don't remind yourself constantly that you harm. Put on a smile, don't let your pain be shown. Cause that's all you've got to keep your cover from being blown. Lock up the knives and throw away the key. Keep reminding yourself that you can be. Be someone with a hope and a dream. Instead of being someone with a constant plead. Stop knocking on Heaven's door. Remember there's a life out there where you can score. Don't keep your head down. There's nothing to be ashamed of. Remember everybody's got something that they're not proud of. Ya gotta be strong. Throwing the knife away will be the hardest thing you'll ever have to do. But in the end, you'll be glad cause your life ain't through.
