So Much for Minnesota Nice

by SmokeDances   Oct 5, 2005

I remember when I was young.
Stories unfold as soon as Spring has sprung.
Fresh feelings
and a brand new day.
Those stories;
old now.
No longer are those feelings with me.

Sat with her on the swings.
We talked about our future days.
Sung our songs,
climbed the trees.
Stayed up all night listening to the breeze.

You commited crimes
and I took all the blame.
When you cried and screamed.
Called out my name.
I came.
I held you.
Now i\'m lost and confused.
Don\'t know what to do
since i\'ve been without you.

I remember when we were young.
Stories unfold as soon asSpring has sprung.
Fresh feelings
and a brand new day.
Those stories;
old now.
No longer are those feelings with us.
