Morning

by ~*~ April ~*~   Oct 6, 2005

The singing birds in the morning
Swallow up time,
And you just stop what you are doing
And listen;
To the laughs of the kookaburras
And the calls of the cockatoos
And the stomping feet of wild kangaroos.
You feel the gentle, cool, breeze
rub against your face
And you know deep in your heart
that it is going to be a good day.
