Ugly

by k i k i   Oct 6, 2005

I'm afraid we're lost,
Hidden away from the real world.
No people to hold,
Nothing to laugh at; only me.
Deformed and mixed with current horror,
Face squished in, I'm ugly.

What to do with an image like that?
Hide until your time is up.
There's nothing that can make it change,
Born with it, a mark so unique.
Scars that run down my arms,
Just the same, no one is the same.

Spots of pricks, hair falling loose,
I don't have much time left to shine.
Friends and family, especially you,
I got that second chance, only a month or so.
I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you,
You are so beautiful to me.

When I look in the mirror I see darkness,
But somehow you make me happy.
