It seems like years and years
Since I last seen your warm smiling face,
It seems to get harder instead of getting easy,
The words I long to say to you have never escaped from my lips,
The things I longed to do to you, have vanished in my empty mind,
Your eyes I can no longer see, the baby blue I fell for,
Your arms I wanted to be held in for so long, this feeling is now gone,
You were everything I wanted, everything in this world,
You took away the things that hurt me, the things I loved the most,
You became one of those things, the ones that would cut deeper and deeper,
Those eyes I can see in a distance in my mind, that piercing blue,
I could see your soul; I could feel your heart,
Those words ring in my ears,
But I know now that was all just a dream,
I’ll never be able to see you again
