I have a dream
its the same dream over and over
each and every night
as I close my eyes
and begin to sleep
my body, mind, and soul
start to drift away
to another place
I open up my eyes
and I see your face
your soft lips press up against mine
the touch of your hand
going through my hair
your eyes sparkle like diamonds
as they gaze into mine
you open your mouth
and the sweetest words come out
I love you, you say
these words I hear from you
each and every day
But its only a dream
for soon I will awake
back to the place I don't want to be
not in your arms
or you kissing me so gently
I open my eyes
and your not near
To realize it was only another dream, and here comes a tear
for once again I will cry myself to sleep
until that one day, when we can finally meet
