Ink smudges down the blotchy page,
Now drowning in all her fears,
The song she's chosen to sing today
Is the song of tears.

When her mouth no longer speaks the truth,
She depends upon her eyes,
The song she's chosen to sing today
Is the song of lies.

"Don't ever leave my side" she begged,
"Or part of me you'll take"
The song she's chosen to sing today,
Is the song of heart-break.

Promise that you'll always stay true,
Not an option but a must,
The song she's chosen to sing today
Is the song of broken trust.

Everything around, one huge mistake,
The type no one will forget,
The song she's chosen to sing today
Is the song of regret.

So when nothing will be right again,
And everything feels wrong,
She will sing forever more,
Her Broken Heart's Sweet Song.

    only word that can describe what i just read. that is true lyrical at its finest. if i were you, music is def. your calling. that or writing, cuz DAAANG that was good!! lol as sad as it seemed, i totally understand, and that perfectly described it. i love it and you better keep writing!
