Mom

by Bizzy Lizzy   Oct 6, 2005

I'm tired of crying all my make up away
I'm tired of you ruining all of my plans
I'm sorry I can't be like you
I like to take a break now and then
But you just like to work and work
That's all you ever do
You never have to me for me anymore
Your just to dam busy
Things have changed mom
We're not the same
Why can't you see that
I'm me thats all I can be
No way No how
I won't change to be like you
You tell me all the time
What to do, What to say
You always say its just a phase I'll get over it
You say you know me but you don't
You say you care but you won't
I lie in bed tonight
Look up my ceiling crying my heart out
Now do you see mom
Now that I'm on the news
Teen commits suicide
And is all because of you
Things have changed mom
We're not the same
Why can't you see that
I'm me thats all I can be
No way No how
I won't change to be like you
Why don't you step aside and let me live my life
It's my choices my regrets
So stop acting like you own it
All those poems and songs I write
Aren't imaginary
I really want to die soon
All this make up I wear
Isn't to look pretty
It's to hide the ugly side
I don't want anyone to see the real me
I'm done I'm through
I don't know what to do
Now you want to be my friend forever
You use to hit me with the belt
But you don't know how that felt
Look at all these things you've done to me
Its too late to say that your sorry
