It\'s not them, it\'s me

I don\'t ever seem to say the right things
I try to fix things,
but make them worse
It\'s as if someone did this to me,
like a curse

I\'m always wrong
never right
I say stupid things
and get into fights

It\'s always my fault
I did something wrong
so they make me feel
like i don\'t belong

People hear me
but no one listens
i think there\'s something
that they\'re missin\'

now i\'m lost
and so confused
i\'m not sure what to do

if i stay with my \"friends\"
i\'ll keep getting put down
but if i move on
i may never be found

they are the only ones
who will put up with me
so i think i\'ll stay with them
and just be who they want me to be

i think it\'ll be better that way,
i\'ll fit in and they might listen
Then there\'s nothing
that they\'ll be missin

I\'ll learn to be nice
i\'ll be a better person
I\'ll keep my mouth closed
no more cursin\'

yep, that\'s what i\'ll do
i\'ll like me better like that
and then i\'ll be happy
