Forbidden love

He is 17 and i am 14
our parents don't agree
they don't think that our love should ever be

i can't help the way i feel
i know i love him
and what we share is real

Sometimes at night i think
wondering," what if they knew?"
If they knew
what we've been through

Would they still make us hide it
or would they let us show,
show the world the love we know

you can tell just by the way
he looks at me
it's obvious i love him
and he loves me

Why don't they approve
of me and him?
can they not see
the love forbidden?
