Visible Pain

The uncomfortable pain
The pain I feel
I do to myself
It’s visible pain, I can see.

I hate how I began
Once started
I could no longer stop
The need to cut, the addictive pain.

The scars I can see
My scars seen by others
Are taken the wrong way
It’s visible pain, just for me.
