Mummy...

Mummy...

Mummy, please don't cry,
It wasn't your fault that I had to die.
I chose to mummy,
It doesn't matter though, because I was just a dummy.
Living in a huge world,
Mummy, it's ok, I'm a big girl.
I should last in my new life.
Mummy, it's better than me living with all that strife.
I couldn't take it anymore,
Mummy, I just had to help myself out the door.
It was an accident on the street,
No-one was there to stop my feet.
Mummy, they moved, but I said no.
My feet kept going until smacked from head-to-toe.
Mummy, I couldn't hear or see.
I don't think anyone heard my innocent plea.
It's too late mummy, I'm gone for good.
I shouldn't have run, but I was so misunderstood.
Mummy, I miss you already.
When you come to visit, please bring my teddy.
If you can't come soon, mummy, it's ok.
I know you miss me, I hear you pray.
Mummy, they are taking good care of me,
Although, I wish they'd set me free.
Mummy, I'm lonely.
And the people all call me, Alice the one & only.
Mummy, please help me understand.
I really need to hold your hand.
Mummy, I'm growing, but getting so weak.
I can't even play hide-and-seek.
I feel like I haven't seen you for ages.
Mummy, please look in the yellow pages.
I don't know what this place is called, But it's really rather nice.
Mummy, you can move here, no need to think twice.
We can be together for ever more.
Mummy, I promise this time I won't ignore your roar.
When you find the phone number, give me a call.
Mummy, I will sit by the phone and not move at all.
I just can't wait to hear from you. It's making me so excited.
Mummy, if they ask for your name, just say you were invited.
Mummy, mummy, mummy. I really, really can't wait.
I will talk to you soon, but please don't call too late.
