LETTING GO

The hardest part was letting go
As I said those simple words
That in a way set me on my own,
In this cold and brutal world.

When everything fell away
And comfort was not around,
I searched to replace what may
Never again be found.

And I find it hard to understand
Why we lose those things in life,
That make us able to stand,
And give us strength to fight!

For those things that once was,
Can not be found again
And as emptiness grows from within my loss
I wonder why it had to end.

Though memories will always keep
And give me strength to cope
Even though those things I need
Can never be, I still have hope.

THIS IS ABOUT MY LAST YEAR OF GRADE 12 LEAVING BEHIND THE PEOPLE THAT GAVE ME SUPPORT EVEN MORE A PLACE THAT GAVE COMFORT, LETTING GO OF SOMETHING OF GREAT BENEFIT CAN BE THE MOST DIFFICULTIES THING TO DO.
