But Then Things Changed

by SmIlEbAcKtHeTeArS   Oct 8, 2005

I walk along the beach
searching for a sign
anything that will show
that you'll come back in time

I let my mind take me back
to our conversations on the phone
or the nights we'd spend together
just hanging out at home.

And now it's killing me
now that we're apart
there's an empty space
that runs deep in my heart.

My minds going insane
with memories of you
all the things we said
and everything we used to do

all of the plans for the future
have all now be erased
they went up in thin air;
left without a trace

and what kills me the most
is things will never be the same
because the only thing im left with
is a grave that bears your name.
