Where Dead Angels Lie

by Katie   Oct 8, 2005

Coldness of death,
Filling the land,
And so you stumble,
Where dead angels lie.

Turn your face the other way,
While I scream this dead poem,
Fall to the ground and pray for peace,
Where dead angels lie.

Walk mindlessly between the headstones,
Keep telling yourself all your lies,
Deprive yourself of sanity,
Where dead angels lie.

Welcome the darkness with open arms,
Smile when you feel the pain,
Bottle up your hatred and place them,
Where dead angels lie.

Lie down on the hardened ground,
Prepare yourself to die,
Embraced in darkness 6 feet under,
Where dead angels lie.

-I don't like this one, but I haven't posted anything for a while. [Where Dead Angels Lie is the title of a song, that's where i got the idea.]

I think its its a beautifuly dark and well written piece, pitty that the title is not your own but other than that it was a grand read.
