Colors

by cowgirlstar26   Oct 8, 2005

There are no more colors in her faded world
living in the Grey's and blacks
only darkened colors, for what she's always lacked

never pretty pinks and blues
or pastels and winter whites

only Grey's and blacks
in her world of darkened life

the yellow rays of the sun never hit her face
she shivers all alone with her black dress of lace

soon the colors she sees are new,
shades of brown , green and all shades of blue

his eyes meet hers and he See's what no one ever has,
her crystal blue eyes so alone and sad

he takes her pale hand and scoops her up in his arms
he holds her close protecting her from harm

he takes her to a place where she no longer feels this pain, no more blood stained black dress, now his love for her he will confess

she begins to cry shedding tears of many colors each representing something she's been missing

now she won't ever be alone
he'll be her corner stone
