MY BROTHER, THE LIAR

by Eyes_Of_Rain   Oct 8, 2005

I have a younger brother,
Who is a habitual liar.
A fact he tries to cover,
Which only adds fuel to the fire.

Ever since I can remember,
He has always been this way.
If it were late September,
He would swear that it was May.

If he tells you a story,
Don't take his words as true.
I can tell you this in a hurry,
His head is missing some screws.

He once lied to a teacher,
Without so much as a care.
He said he was out on the bleachers,
When his homework was ate by a bear.

No matter the situation,
He will try to lie his way out.
Without a falter, or hesitation,
Without remorse, or doubt.

In fact he has told so many lies,
He can't seem to keep them all straight.
Can't remember which girl is his alibi,
Can't remember which one is his date.

He says that he cannot help it,
But I know just what to do.
Next lie he tells I'm going to fit,
His little lying ass with my shoe.
