Kissing Stone Again

by Danielle   Oct 8, 2005

Your conscience is sickening
Piercing through every cold sore
And slicing apart the remains
Of what's not there anymore

Your hands are full
Like lead they're too heavy
They'll drop through the floor
And you'll cry your eyes out

Your character is strong
But yet you still don't have the heart
To make or break this
You'll just fall too far apart

Your precarious mind
Will shake the ground you stand on
And create an earthquake so demonic
Even you won't be able to stop it

Your insincere talk
Is more than a knock on the door
It's a tragic insecurity
That will kill you for sure

Your immature shell
With yellow sparkles on the outside
Will shatter beneath those veins
And remain scattered on your bed

Your emotions are tied
Into a million knots
It's going to tear soon
And it'll only be your loss

Your self-proclaimed immunity
Is going to wear off shortly
It'll abide not to pity
Nor the person you stand for

Your opinions are like ice
So plain and meaningless
And without the crystal designs
It's something unable to address

Your fear is obvious
Like a cracked window
It will break eventually
And you'll expose yourself

Your tears will capture you
And you'll fall prostrate on the ground
Just a moment too late we'll be
And you'll lay there unsound
