Goodbye

I remember the last time i told you goodbye,
Now i will never be able to hear you say hi,
I will never get to see you smile,
Or ever get to hang with you for awhile,
I will never get to hold you in my arms,
And protect you from anything that trys to do you harm,
I told you that i loved you but you were resistant,
Maybe you felt that way because of the distance,
I loved you with all of my heart,
I hate the fact that we are apart.

Now that your gone and i cant get you back,
The greatest feeling in the world i now lack,
Its quite a surprise how me met,
The first time we met was playing pool on the internet,
From the first sentence you typed i knew i liked you,
At the same time i knew you liked me too,
At that moment i didn't know what to do,
Now we don't talk, its over, its through,
I cant believe i will never again hear you say hi,
So i guess its time to say goodbye.
