Sometimes I wonder if not for 4 words,
I would have been alright,
Sometimes I wonder if that day never happened,
I would not wish to hold you tight.

Four short words though so harmless,
Sent a shiver down my spine,
And though it was the first time we spoke,
I started wishing you were mine.

If I had of stayed at home that day,
Would I still feel all this,
If 4 short words never happened,
Would I still long for your kiss?

4 short words, 8 syllables,
Why did they make me fall?
If it wasn't for them being said,
This wouldn't had happened at all.
