Void of Darkness

by Michael D Nalley   Oct 9, 2005

Void of Darkness

While traveling through the void of space
Where the future has not shown its face
I thought of where this world has been
And all the lives it has held within

Small fragment of the universe
Some say blessed some say cursed
Loses counted where there is no gain
Endless years of endless pain

Oh darkness does the light dispel?
A destiny away from hell

I think you spelt losses wrong, but that is just my opinion.
You have an amazing collection of poetry...really, I might actually have the same by the time I'm fifty, as well.
I liked the dark rhymes in this poem, and I wonder that it hasn't got more comments.

Wonderful piece. Very thought provoking. For me it held a deep secret, the unknown, magic and superstition.
