The Five Dooms

by Grotesque Angel   Oct 9, 2005

The Five dooms inside my heart,
Hopefully will never come,
But now name them I shall start,
Although of them are dumb

My first doom isn't shocking,
Nor is it that bad,
For I think that this man is king,
Its losing my grandad

My second doom is weird,
Funny in some ways,
For this although I have not teared,
To think that Goth is just a phase

Third doom comes out,
Its insane to me,
Hell life would be if this happened,
Not being able to see

Fourth on this list of dooms,
Almost at the end,
Lonely would be all rooms,
If I lost every friend

Finally the last of them,
Its the worst of them too,
The worst thing to happen to me,
Would be losing you

Great poem, very honest and heartfelt. I really liked the concept. I think that one the hardest thing to do when writing is writing from the heart, you tackled it with grace and style.

I look forward to reading more from you.

    Kind regards
    Hayley
