I feel the tears behind my eyes
I feel the pain as you walk by
I feel the loss I feel the hurt
Somehow I don't know which is worse

My love for you is still unchanged
You have changed and that I can't explain
Do you miss me I don't know?
For on the surface it doesn't show

The pain will go the hurt will stop
Given time well, maybe not
I loved you then I love you now
I love you more each passing hour

But wishing for what used to be
Won't get it back or return you to me
And dwelling in self sympathy
Only prolongs what shouldn't be.

Remember the good and forget the bad
Remember the good times both of us had
Life's too short for what can't be
So accept the fact and reality.
