Loneliness

The night is cold,
And I'm so alone
I feel so empty
Without you at home

These rooms echo loudly
With one set of feet
Now I've lost my companion
Full of life, fire and heat

I feel so angry
For all I have lost
I gave my love blindly
But it came at a cost

Now I must pay
For the years of happiness
With the bitter, cold taste
Of this loneliness.
