The last footstep leaves the stairway
outstretcehed hands grasp the firmament-
this is the immaculate ascension
we've always dreamed of
in all innocence and insanity
a melting into other,
the great becoming
that undresses us
of bone and act
at the apex of love and spirit
we are beautiful, naked gods
with the wisdom of life's rapture
a knowing that supersedes
words, the conundrum
of knowledge beyond expression
far beyond the ghosts
and debris of relentless mortality,
through a thousand consumate dances
drifting in the grace of exquisite sleep,
we stand in a forest of dreams-
dreams lost and dreams found.
