Where the angels fly

by Laura Anne   Oct 9, 2005

All to you, my precious treasure,
To your decadent love,
I surrender.
I give you my worries,
my doubts,
my dreams.
To the one I adore,
for you my heart sings!
To you I will run,
to you and you only,
to where I belong,
into your loving holding.

When your eyes met mine,
I knew we'd met before,
In the place where angels fly,
the origin of dreams!
There were we created,
I for you.
And you, for I.

Never since then did we ever truly part.
Although not yet awoken,
you and I shared one heart.

Forever it has been,
forever it will be.
You and I my love,
we were meant to be!

all for you my wonderful Gil. I love you!

This is a sweet poem.A bit awkward in a couple spots but not that it takes away from the pure beautiful expression of love.Good piece.(and thanks for the comments on a couple of my poems, especially the newly revised TEN YEARS GONE(trying to get feedback on the new and/or revised pieces).I hope to see more of your poetry.Take care.
