Another Boy

by mookoo   Oct 9, 2005

Somewhere in the world,
where a birds call echoes the sunrise,
stands a small teenage boy,
hurt and fear staring through his eyes,

he stands stock still and erect,
as she says those final words,
that will course through his veins,
hot and lurid,

she tells him of another boy,
one she has known for forever,
she speaks of him in a new light now,
for his world with her she wishes to sever,

hatred boils at his stomach,
and he wishes her nothing,
but mournful cries of the future,
as is the forever pain she will bring.
