Old Oak Tree

by Outlaw Central   Dec 3, 2003

This old Oak Tree leans towards the Lake beckoning the water
Seasons around carry on without pause
I lay at the base of the old Oak Tree watching the seasons change with my feet in the Lake.
And as the Lake drys up and leaves only Puddles
i stand to put my hands on the Oak and say good bye to an old friend who has beeen there from the start and pray for the water the oak so wanted to touch.
