Bell rings. It's 7:50 AM.
Hall flood with people.
Mostly fake pretending they care.
Someone stops her in the hall.
Ask her how she's doing.
Without a thought in her head she says "Just great!"
And walks on by.
She's used to pretending.
Pretending to be happy when she's not.
When really all she wants to do is let it out.
But knowing that most to none would care.
She keeps it bottled up.
Completely shuts everyone out.
Puts up a barrier.
So no one can come in.
No one can come out.
So no one can hurt her.
Love her.
Or disappoint her.
She won't let anything out.
She won't let any of them in.
For her she thought it was a win win situation.
It worked for awhile.
Till she couldn't take it anymore.
The next day many of kids crowed around.
In awe of everything.
Some crying.
Some not.
They all said "she was such a happy person"
Some said "that poor girl she had no one to turn to."
Many said different things...
As they laid roses on her coffin and said "good-bye"
