When times are tough I know you are there,
I can count on you to steer me clear.
When my heart was broken you helped it mend
With this poem my love and thanks I send
When I needed to cry you were there to lend a shoulder
I know that there are people that could be much colder
When things are wrong in my life I count on you to help me choose
Our friendship is something I don’t want to lose
I know that there is no way you would never hurt me.
With out you I don’t know where I would be
When one of us is going through hell
We will help the other to yell
So many friendships come and go
I know that with the experiences ours will grow.
When I think of the future and the past
I can see how our friendship will always last.
Just seeing you smile lets me know there is hope
With my biggest fears you help me cope
You make me laugh in times of sadness
You make me sane in my times of madness
There is no one that understands me the way you do.
You make me happy when I am feeling blue
I want you to know to me you mean a lot
The things you do will never be forgot
