Dearest Friend

by Becky   Oct 11, 2005

You promised em release
you said you'd take away the pain
you wouldn't hurt me
you promised to listen
and keep my secrets

i came to you everyday
told you all my problems
let you grip my arms and legs
just for the sweet release

you drowned the pain in my heart
made it go away...
for a while

you did hurt me
but it was for the better
it took away the great mental pain

you listened to me every word
and even cried some crimson tears
in honer or my pain

you never told anyone my secrets
you stayed oh so quiet
then release was harder to get
it took more hugs and kisses

my pain kept growing
and stopped ebbing away

you hurt me alot
the bleeding wouldn't stop for hours

you stopped listening
and was just like the others

you told my secrets
told them all of my pain
showed them my shame
taught them of my game
they saw the cuts
and all the scars

its all your fault
you were my dearest friend
but you lied like the rest
now I'm left alone
I'm all alone again
Dear Razor Blade
