Taken

The rain beats against the roof
And the lightning brightens the sky
The thunders loud and frightening
And he still hadn't made it home
A call come in
And the voice told her
His body was found
That he had took his life
They gave her a note
He held tight in his hand
As she read the letter he wrote
Tears filled her eyes
She couldn't believe what was happening
Her life was going to hell
She did everything
Just anything
That'd ease
And get rid of the pain
Even if it was just for a little while
That she held inside
It all got to much
And this was way to much for her to handle
Cause she lost everything
She ever had
A night
Just like the one before
Shes lyes and listens
To the rain
And watches the lightning in the sky
This was it
As she held the loaded gun
She prayed for the courage
So she could stop all the hurt
Then within a matter of seconds
A gun shot was heard
That was followed by a scream
Another life was took
Cause of the loss of a love
Her life ended seconds later
Hoping she'd see his face again
