When There's Nobody But You

by Cathy Allerite   Oct 11, 2005

When darkness falls...
I can't help but think of you.
I hate the sound of silence.
The pouring rain gives me the sick feeling,
Of missing you and hugging you so tight

You have taken me somewhere in dreams
That I can't find my way home.
The hands of time can't bring me back.
I am astray and lonely.
So damn helpless without you!

I can't stand the sight of lovely roses.
I can't smell the fragrance of sweet perfume.
And I don't want to hear those love songs anymore.
Because they will only remind me.
Remind me of the days when I had you.

God! I must be crazy
There's nothing else in mind but "you"
Somehow I can get over this insanity.
Somehow I can get over you.
But there's nobody around here to hold, to think of.
Nobody but you!
