Some dreams don't come true

One of mine was to forever be with you

That ended quick when you walked away

All your excuses why you couldn't stay

I gave all my love to you

In return you gave me pain I can't undo

The pain that runs very deep

Wishing that you I could forever keep

Even though you may be gone

Deep In my heart the feelings remain strong

In my dreams we are still living on

And we are happy as ever can be

Because you are forever with me

But when I awake from this dream

My eyes will be filled with a sad gleam

Wishing you were the one I woke up to

Since you weren't I will just dream of you
