What ever happened to the boy I once knew?
The one who would party all night,
Did what they wanted, when they wanted,
And would address them selves, with or without a fight.
What ever happened to that boy?
Did he just disappear of the face of the Earth?
What affected him to change all of a sudden? What happened?
To the boy whom treated you with everything your worth?
Once he was there,
The next he was gone, no where,
Just like that, a click of two fingers,
But it made us all aware.
The last I remember of this boy,
Was the hidden shadow of hurt,
He tried hiding it, but I could still see,
Something wasn't right, it made me very alert.
Many months ago,
He did what he pleased,
Then it all proved,
It was something like love, and you where displeased.
And now you have left behind everything,
You worked for, friends, family, your own life,
In a second just gone, like it was paper, burnt, no more,
And you have left everything plus strife.
All you have now is your wondered love,
And your new empty sad life,
I have seen that you have been depressed,
To tell you the truth its not fun reaching for the knife.
So tell me,
Tell me the truth, I want to hear it from you,
Your mouth, your heart, your mind,
What ever happened to the boy I once knew?
