When you care about someone and you know they might care about you, you can never find the words to tell them. You feel as if when you tell them you have broken some unwritten rule in your life that lets someone in, closer to you than anyone has ever been. You feel as if you allow them to hurt you, to seemingly break your heart. So, you don't tell them that yo care. At least not when their there. The only way you've found you can truely express your feelings is when you are alone, in a quiet place. only there can you tell them in your head, that you care. You sit there and ponder what they might say or do. Quuetly to yourself you wish they could tell you how they feel, how they care. But fear takes its toll on young hearts and forbids them to open completly. Fear keeps them from feelings that don't go away easily. it keeps them from the most truest thing somone could feel for another. If only you could say you like them, care about them, need them, maybe you could fear something else together. Like losing one another.
