Hidden Secrets behind Closed Doors

Lets take a trip through the doors of my mind
lets see what horrors we can find,
turn each page and shut your eyes
cover your ears to block out those cries.

Look at these urges which cover the wall
me alone crying curled up in a ball,
watch the sharp razor cut through my skin
hear those voices who will always win.

The colourful bracelets covering my arm
I'll take them off, one by one,
the hidden scars lie waiting below
a burning shame which no one should know.

Wrap yourself up so you don't feel the pain
don't look, it's just me cutting again,
there sits a loved one all skin and bone,
me in the darkness afraid and alone.

Here lies a perfect picture i drew
still remaining a secret to all of you,
my suicide drawn, the details so clear,
i drew it with blood which was smudged by a tear.

Hear that door slam with anger and hate,
mascara running, i look like a state,
half written poems pinned to the door,
where suicide notes litter the floor.

I can't take you further it runs too deep,
there's too many secrets i still want to keep,
don't tell anyone the horrors you saw
for they will be sealed behind the last door.
