Wherefore art thou...?

by Rusted x Heart   Oct 11, 2005

Asphyxiate me with thy kiss,
A murderous emotion,
Surviving but a life like this,
Through chaos and commotion.
Thy love is but my dying wish,
As we fade into still motion,
Losing consciousness I glimpse
At the venomous love potion.

My fatal, last addiction,
Found me within thine eyes,
The constellation and prediction,
Of my early demise.

The pounding in my veins doth freeze,
As darkness floods my view,
Kiss me goodbye, I ask thee, please
Don't bid this love adieu.

Deserted like a grain of sand,
the state I leave thee in tonight,
If only you could understand,
At dawn this felt so right.

My dagger lies upon a grave,
If these lips no longer wet,
So helpless that I could not save...
Only you my Juliet.

I like the reference to Romeo and Juliet. Very few people know how to write with good shaperian style you achieved it pretty well. Good poem
