My Two Angels

Get up at six
Breakfast by eight
Hurry out the door
Can not be late

Bows in her hair
Batman on his shirt
Refereeing a fight
While on the way to work

Work all day long
No rest in between
Maybe things would be easy
If I wasn’t only a teen

Pick the kids back up
On our way home
Trying to cook dinner
While busy on the phone

Dinner is served
Bath time is next
Then its t.v. time
Moms time to rest

Nine rolls around
Tuck them into bed
Turn off their lights
Kiss their little heads

Close the door behind me
And say a little prayer
Then I must keep going
Theres a mess to clean downstairs

Finally I climb into bed
And recall my day
Tommrow will be the same
Fights, work, laughs, and play

I close my eyes to talk to god
And thank him for all he gives
Because even though its hard
I love this life I live
