Leap of Faith

I always figure out things
but there are some i just don't get
like how i knew just who you were before we even met
i wished you'd never leave me
i hoped you'd never go
i prayed I'd always have you
and would never be alone

i took a leap of faith
and believed that you were true
i should never have given up my heart
and certainly not to you

you knew how it was delicate
and could break with the slightest touch
but still you played around with it
and you know that was too much

Now i wish that you will leave me
i hope that you will go
