The Revenge Of War

by Beatriz Zamora   Oct 12, 2005

No peace is her, for the revenge of war lets no wounds heal. Yet mankind does not learn. Not even from cries and death, not even from screams and agony do they flee. For war is addicting, don't you see? With a gunshot they will not plead. The will stand tall and lead. Lead us to what, I say? To victory, to fate? It doesn't matter which way because our country will still pay, Pay in what, I say? In fear, in pain? For war is not a solution to our hungry minds. It is a burden to our lives. For war is a creation of man and when it destroys our land, remember to blame man.
