I'll never forget the way you smile
the way you laughed and even the way you cried
but most of all I will never forget
the way I was your all and you were mine
we were together all the time
and we did take it for-granted often
but our bond is strong
I watched you grow big and strong and so sweet
I took care of you all the time
I raised you to be mostly who you are now until recently when I moved out and left you home
I'm sorry baby I know you'll someday understand why I left
but I will return
I'll come back and get you and take you with me
we'll move away together and be happy in our life that I'll build for us
