I just needed to get this off my chest

Everyday its one step closer
One step closer to actually understanding that your gone
You died and it killed everyone around you
Inside and out
Emotionally i fell apart without you
And it still lingers inside of me
I don't know if things would be any better if you were still alive
But things are going on the right track
Sadly enough i write this in sorrow
Knowing that i wont wake up and see your face tomorrow
I write these poems about you
But i know you will never have the chance to read them
Because you were in a car crash
Not a car accident
No deaths are accident
As most people say, "Everything happens for a reason"
"And most of those reasons are for the best"
But why couldn't you just die like the rest
Old age, cancer, heartattack
Why did you have to get into a car crash
I dont understand what happened
My friends tell me you were high on life
Enjoying a drive around town
But see i cannot beilieve
That you would be so ignorant
You loved your children, your husband
Your family and friends
Everyone around you died inside
Because you left our side
But you will never have a chance to truely know how we feel
Because your gone
Forever and always
Some say it was for the best
But i dont think so
I just needed to get this off my chest
