Last little angel

by Ruby   Oct 12, 2005

She sits on the floor of the open room,
And stares at the snow white ground.
One more symbol of their undying perfection
She knows she'll never live up to that
A single tear kisses a soft white cheek
A final surrender to sorrow
She finds resolution in a silver goodbye
A single slice to end the suffering
A drop of red innocence falls to the floor
As she screams the name of her nemesis
She watches her purity taint the soft white
A stain on her parent's perfection
In all of their heaven an angel existed
Their only mistake marks their bliss
Their blindness to her anguish
She falls limp on the floor as it stains itself red
And forever marks a remembrance
Of the last little angel
Which somehow was lost
When they became too blind to even see her.
